MOSCOW, November 17. /TASS/. Russia ranks 100th in the world in terms of the coronavirus fatality rate, Head of the Russian Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing Anna Popova said on Tuesday.

"Russia ranks 62nd in the world in terms of morbidity per 100,000 population and 100th in terms of mortality rate," she said at an online symposium on COVID-19.

Russia’s COVID-19 mortality rate currently stands at about 1.7%, Popova added.
