Putin rides in new Russian-made Cortege limousine for first time to inauguration ceremony

MOSCOW, May 7. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin who is holding his inauguration ceremony to be sworn in for another 6-year term rode from the Kremlin’s First Building housing his office in a new domestically-made limousine from the Cortege project.

The black sedan brought the Russian president to the Grand Kremlin Palace for the inauguration.

As a source close to the swearing-in ceremony told TASS, "the automobile has passed all the necessary tests confirming its safety to transport the state’s top official."
