Farewell ceremony for military blogger Vladlen Tatarsky over

Over 1,000 people came to bid farewell to him

MOSCOW, April 8. /TASS/. The farewell ceremony for military blogger and volunteer Vladlen Tatarsky (real name Maxim Fomin) on the Troyekurovskoye Cemetery in Moscow is over.

Over 1,000 people came to bid farewell to Tatarsky, including Wagner PMC found Yevgeny Prigozhin, former DPR Deputy Minister of Information Danill Bezsonov, commander of the "Pyatnashka" international brigade Akhra Avidzba, rap singer Akim Apachev and LDPR Patry leader Leonid Slutsky. The farewell proceeded with military honors, with an honor guard.

The attendees included the military, volunteers and civilians, with a large number of young people. Security measures at the cemetery were reinforced: vehicle access to the cemetery was blocked, and entry was possible only through metal detector frames and with a scrupulous search by the police.

Vladlen Tatarsky was a volunteer to Novorossiya militia and later a People’s Militia serviceman. He authored two autobiographic books - "The Run" and "The War," and one story book, "Mediation." He founded a media project together with another volunteer, known only as "Admin." The project has gained cult following among volunteers, servicemen, humanitarian activists and military reporters. Shortly before the beginning of the special military operation, Tatarsky and Admin departed to DPR and took part in a number of operations, including the storm of Mariupol, where they served as drone operators. Tatarsky combined his military service with blogging, creative events and humanitarian fundraising.

He died on April 2 in an explosion at the cafe on Universitetskaya Embankment in St. Petersburg, while hosting a creative event. Over 40 people were injured in the attack.
