DONETSK, August 21. /TASS/. Russian troops have breached the Ukrainian army’s defenses southeast of Krasnoarmeysk in the Donetsk region, Igor Kimakovsky, adviser to the DPR (Donetsk People’s Republic) head, told TASS on Thursday.

"Near Krasnoarmeysk, our units have breached the defense of Ukrainian armed formations. The defense has been breached in the area of the settlement of Chunishino," he specified.

The Ukrainian army is suffering heavy casualties in that frontline area, he added.
