Shoigu, Xi stress intention to prevent terror attacks

Chinese presiden stressed that Russia and China must continuously improve strategic coordination and practical cooperation

MOSCOW, February 28. /TASS/. Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu and Chinese President Xi Jinping have emphasized their intention to interact on preventing the spread of terrorist threats, the press service of the Russian Security Council said in a statement.

"Given the events unfolding in the Middle East, they stressed their intention to interact on preventing the spread of terror threats, extremism and radical ideology," the statement reads.

At a meeting with Shoigu in Beijing, Xi stressed that Russia and China must continuously improve strategic coordination and practical cooperation.
