MOSCOW, December 2. /TASS/. Russia and Belarus have invited all Eurasian countries to join the continental security dialogue to develop the Eurasian Charter of diversity and multipolarity in the 21st century, according to a statement regarding their joint vision of the Charter, posted on the Russian Foreign Ministry website.
"We, representatives of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, invite all Eurasian countries to join the dialogue on a range of issues that involve the principles of cooperation in the multipolar era and are relevant to the pan-continental architecture of security, cooperation, and development, in order to develop, considering the contents of this document, the Eurasian Charter of diversity and multipolarity in the 21st century," the document reads.
In their statement, Moscow and Minsk also pledged to create a new pan-continental architecture of security cooperation, based on the principles of "indivisibility of security, justice, fairness, sustainability, and the joint contribution of the participants." The sides also committed to counter "the attempts of external forces to interfere in the affairs of Eurasian states and carry out policies aimed at undermining the processes of consolidation and cooperation on the continent," imposing their models of development, ideological attitudes, and alien moral values.
"Effective cooperation between all subjects of the Eurasian space, the harmonization of relations between the Eurasian development centers, is the necessary condition for the consolidation of the continent in the interest of all countries located there, which, in the end, will contribute to the goal of building a fair world order on a multipolar basis," the document notes.
