Some 45,000 residents left without power by shelling of Belgorod Region — governor

According to Vyacheslav Gladkov, power has already been restored in settlements of Rzhevka and Maslova Pristan

MOSCOW, March 13. /TASS/. About 45,000 people in the Belgorod Region of Russia were left without power due to the Ukrainian shelling of the Shebekino city district, governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on his Telegram channel.

"During the morning shelling of the Shebekino district, over 45,000 people got cut off power. Emergency brigades are working very actively right now," he said.

According to the governor, power has already been restored in settlements of Rzhevka and Maslova Pristan.

"I am certain that our power specialists, and they are great specialists for sure, will do their work fast, and power will be restored both to the enterprises and residential buildings of the Shebekino district," Gladkov added.

On Wednesday morning, subscribers in Shebekino, Novaya Tavolzhanka and Maslova Pristan were left without power because of the shelling.
