SIRIUS /Federal Territory/, March 6. /TASS/. The situation in the Zaporozhye region remains difficult even though Ukraine’s terrorist activities have significantly declined, regional Governor Yevgeny Balitsky said in an interview with TASS.
"The situation remains difficult and it’s no time to relax even though the number of terrorist attacks carried out by the [Ukrainian] Nazi regime with the assistance of the so-called local 'patriots' has decreased. However, the enemy continues to conduct strikes on infrastructure facilities and utilities to take revenge for its failures in the information battle in what used to be Ukraine. In a bid to do so, they carry out explosions, target hospitals and electrical substations," Balitsky said.
The governor added that the authorities were working hard to resolve security issues.
