PYATIGORSK, December 5. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived on a working visit to the Stavropol Region, where he will chair the second meeting of the Supervisory Board of the "Movement of the First" Russian Children’s and Youth Movement in Pyatigorsk, on the territory of the Mashuk Educational Center.
The participants, together with parents, teachers and mentors, will talk about the movement's activities, as well as about the projects that were started by the Pioneer organization and are being implemented by the movement. There are now 89 regional branches, 1,685 local societies and 38,922 elementary school clubs. In total, more than 4.1 million participants have joined the movement. The line of projects is based on the principle of continuity from elementary schoolchildren to university students and is being implemented in 12 areas, which were created at the first congress of the movement in December 2022. Each of them has a flagship project. Among them, in particular, are the All-Russia contest "Big Change," projects "We are Citizens of Russia," "Keepers of History" and "First Aid." Within the framework of international activities, efforts are being made to establish effective relations with foreign children's and youth organizations.
Putin will visit the Mashuk Knowledge Center as well as meet with Stavropol Governor Vladimir Vladimirov.
