Air Defense Troops destroy three drones over Russia’s Smolensk

It is reported that emergency services are working at the scene of the incident

TASS, November 17. TASS/. Russian air defense systems have destroyed Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over Russia’s Smolensk, Governor Vasily Anokhin said.

"This morning, the Russian air defense and electronic warfare systems destroyed Ukrainian fixed-wing drones in the Zadneprovsky district of the city of Smolensk and on the territory of the Smolensk district. According to preliminary data, there is no information on casualties," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Emergency services are working at the scene of the incident.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, three Ukrainian drones were destroyed by operational air defense units on duty over the territory of the Smolensk Region at about 5:00 a.m. GMT.
