Vladimir Medinsky noted that Russia's proposals had been presented to Ukraine from the start, but now Russian side understood how to move towards a compromise

MOSCOW, March 29. /TASS/. Russia will put forth its own initiatives after reviewing Kiev’s proposals, says head of the Russian delegation to the Russian-Ukrainian talks, Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky.

"We are ready to review the proposals that Ukraine sent us; we will provide our reciprocal proposals, undoubtedly. They were [presented] to Ukraine from the start, actually, but now we understand how to move towards a compromise," he said in his commentary for RT Tuesday.

Previously, Medinsky announced after the meeting in Istanbul that Ukraine presented Russia with written proposals for a bilateral treaty.
