MOSCOW, September 17. /TASS/. Head of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) Vladimir Zhirinovsky voted in Russia’s State Duma elections at the Public Headquarters for Election Observation in Moscow on Friday.

Zhirinovsky, the firebrand LDPR leader, had previously registered to vote online. He cast his ballot at the Public Headquarters, using his tablet. "I have always been all for electronic devices. Now my vote is in the global information space," the veteran politician said, adding that Russia was the most democratic country. He cast his vote on a party list and for a candidate of a single-member constituency as well.
