MOSCOW, November 1. /TASS/. The dates for Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Italy will be agreed on through diplomatic channels, Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
He recalled that the invitation to the Russian leader to visit Italy was discussed during the visit by Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte to Russia on October 24.
"The dates for such a visit will be agreed on via diplomatic channels," Peskov said when asked when the visit would take place.
Conte said in an interview with the Corriere della Sera daily published on Thursday that he expected contacts with the Russian leader to continue after his visit to Moscow. ""We established an excellent relationship, I received a very warm welcome [in Moscow on October 24 - TASS]," Conte said. "I look forward to returning the favor in Rome soon," he added.
