Russia to wait for results of IAEA’s samples taken in Ukraine — diplomat

Two inspectors visited three facilities in Ukraine

UNITED NATIONS, November 15. /TASS/. Russia will wait for results of the International Atomic Energy Agency’s analysis of samples taken at Ukrainian facilities where a dirty bomb could potentially be in production, Russian Permanent Representative to the International Organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov told reporters on Tuesday.

"Two IAEA inspectors visited three facilities [in Ukraine]. <…> The inspections lasted a few hours," Ulyanov said. "The inspectors made a visual assessment of the situation, conducted a general survey of activities there, and took samples from the environment. Probably, those samples have already been delivered to labs cooperating with the IAEA. We’ll wait and see."
