MOSCOW, March 6. /TASS/. Ukraine will not be able to promptly develop an alternative military communications system in case the United States disables the Starlink systems, technology blogger Valentin Petukhov, known under the nickname Wylsacom, told TASS.
"I don’t think they can do this now because a large network of equipment has already been deployed," he said.
According to Petukhov, such things cannot be done overnight and will take a long time to develop an alternative to Starlink. In case Elon Musk decides to bar Ukraine from accessing Sralink satellites, it will be a big problem for the Kiev regime, he added.
Reuters reported earlier, citing sources, that the United States is looking at switching Ukraine off Starlink as a measure to compel Kiev to signing the minerals deal. It said that this matter had been raised by Washington at the talks with Kiev after Vladimir Zelensky turned down US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent’s initial offer.
