Cost of high-speed hydrofoil ships to be lowered — Putin

The head of state noted that these modern ships enjoy high demand in Russia

ST. PETERSBURG, February 19. /TASS/. Russian high-speed hydrofoil ships are comfortable and enjoy demand but there is a need to lower their cost, President Vladimir Putin said.

"The final cost of items should be reduced and lowered, to make them more affordable for the buyers. At the same time, current modifications of such ships are notable for the higher level of comfort, this should be recognized, and economic stability. In general, these are modern ships that enjoy high demand in Russia, as it seems to me," the president said.
