Inflation of 10% unacceptably high for Bank of Russia — Central Bank chief

The Board of Directors of the Bank of Russia kept the key rate at 21% per annum at its first meeting in 2025, as expected before

MOSCOW, February 14. /TASS/. The Bank of Russia assesses the 10% inflation indicator as unacceptably high, Governor Elvira Nabiullina said at the press conference after the Board of Directors’ meeting.

"Stable inflation indicators were above 10% by the end of the year, and we definitely assess this is as the unacceptably high level," she noted.
