YEKATERINBURG, May 30. /TASS/. Russian Dmitry Bivol defended his World Boxing Association (WBA) and International Boxing Federation (IBF) world titles in the 79.38 kg weight class. In a 12-round bout in Yekaterinburg, he defeated IBF mandatory challenger Michael Eifert of Germany by unanimous decision.

35-year-old Bivol now improves to 25 wins (12 by knockout) and one loss. 28-year-old Eifert suffered his second defeat, with 13 wins (5 by knockout) on his record.
