YEREVAN, December 19. /TASS/. Armenian Airlines will resume flights to Moscow and other Russian cities on December 20, the airline said in a statement on Facebook (prohibited in Russia due to its ownership by Meta, which is designated as extremist).
According to a flight schedule available on the airline’s website, flights will resume from the Armenian capital of Yerevan to Moscow, Volgograd, Mineralnye Vody, Sochi and Ufa. In particular, a flight to the Russian capital is scheduled for December 20.
The airline suspended all flights for aircraft maintenance purposes on October 14. The resumption of flights was planned for December 9 but the company eventually changed the date.
Armenian Airlines was founded in December 2022 and received a 16-year aircraft maintenance license from the country’s Civil Aviation Committee.
