MOSCOW, April 4. /TASS/. The total trading volume on the Moscow Exchange markets in March 2023 increased by 26.3% month-on-month and amounted to 105.6 trillion rubles ($1.33 bln).
All markets of the Moscow Exchange showed positive dynamics in trading volume - the stock market (+37.7%), the futures market (+36.5%), the foreign exchange market (+27.5%), the money market (+24.5%). 6%), the bond market (+20.9%), and the precious metals market (+64.5%).
The volume of stock market trading rose by 28% in March to 3.186 trillion rubles ($40.02 bln), while trading in shares, depositary receipts, and shares increased by 37.7% to 1.458 trillion rubles ($43.44 bln).
The volume of corporate, regional, and government bond trading rose by 20.9% to 1.728 trillion rubles ($46.83 bln). In March, 71 bond issues for 1.667 trillion rubles ($46.07 bln) were listed on the Moscow Exchange.
The derivatives market's trading volume rose by 36.5% to 5.9 trillion rubles ($74.12 bln). The volume of foreign currency trading increased by 27.5% to 24.7 trillion rubles ($310.3 bln). The volume of spot instrument trading rose by 21.9% to 8.4 trillion rubles ($105.53 bln), while swap and forward transactions totaled 16.3 trillion rubles ($204.78 bln). The volume of money market transactions rose by 24.6% to 70.8 trillion rubles ($889.48 bln).
