Most Polymetal’s products may be sold on Russian market in 2023, says CEO

Polymetal is one of the world’s ten largest gold producers and five biggest silver makers

MOSCOW, February 9. /TASS/. Polymetal, Russia’s largest silver producer and one of leading gold producers, projects that the bulk of products will be sold on the domestic market in 2023, Chief Executive Officer Vitaly Nesis told TASS on Thursday, adding that as of the beginning of the year most sales took place on the Russian market.

"I am optimistic, the bulk [of products in 2023] will be sold on the domestic market," he said.

As of the beginning of 2023 sales mostly took part on the Russian market. "So far most sales are taking place on the domestic market. Refineries have already adjusted their production chains," CEO added.

Polymetal is one of the world’s ten largest gold producers and five biggest silver makers. Its assets are located in Russia and Kazakhstan. The company has a portfolio of ten producing gold and silver mines and a pipeline of future growth projects.
