Hard coal exports to China up 52% in 10M 2022 — Russian Railways

MOSCOW, November 29. /TASS/. Russian coal exports to China gained 52% year-on-year in the first ten months of this year and were above 40 mln metric tons, Deputy CEO of Russian Railways said at the Russian-Chinese Energy Business Forum.

"Coal exports as of the end of ten months of this year were over 40 mln metric tons, which is 52% above the like period from last year," Aleksey Shilo noted.

Exports of energy commodities via land railway border crossings moved upward by 9% compared to the previous year, the top manager said. "There was incremental growth for coal and for crude oil and petroleum products," he added.
