Gazprom Neft to increase hydrocarbon output to over 100 mln tonnes in 2021

Head of the company Alexander Dyukov also noted that Gazprom Neft plans to revise the capital expenditure program in 2021 due to the OPEC+ decision

TYUMEN, September 15. /TASS/. Gazprom Neft will increase its hydrocarbon production in 2021 to over 100 mln tonnes, Head of Gazprom Neft Alexander Dyukov told reporters.

"As for oil output, we produce in accordance with the quotas established by the OPEC+ agreement. At the moment, based on the current agreements, we expect that the volume of hydrocarbon production in general will exceed 100 mln tonnes of oil equivalent," he said.

He added that Gazprom Neft plans to revise the capital expenditure program in 2021 due to the OPEC+ decision, it may be higher than the previous estimate of 420 bln rubles ($5.77 bln). "Of course, we are reviewing the investment program. This new quota allows us to increase investments accordingly," he said.

Gazprom Neft also plans to develop petrochemical production at its refineries. At the same time, Dyukov did not rule out projects abroad.
