Hungary eager to boost trade, economic cooperation with Russia, says ambassador

According to Norbert Konkoly, bilateral trade turnover for the past 11 months exceeded $6 bln

MOSCOW, February 4. /TASS/. Budapest is interested in boosting trade and economic ties with Russia, Hungarian Ambassador to Moscow Norbert Konkoly said at a meeting with Head of the Russian Federation Council’s (upper house of parliament) Foreign Affairs Committee Konstantin Kosachev on Monday.

"Hungary is interested in strengthening trade and economic cooperation with Russia," he said, adding that Budapest aims at boosting "export, investment indicators, as well as transfer of technologies."

According to the diplomat, trade turnover between the two countries for the past 11 months exceeded $6 bln.
