DONETSK, September 7. /TASS/. Ukrainian troops are trying to attack toward the settlement of Shcherbinovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), but Russian forces repel their attacks, DPR’s head, Denis Pushilin, said.

"Ukrainian militants are trying to attack toward Shcherbinovka but we see that our units are steadily improving their positions," he said in a video address posted on his Telegram channel.

According to Pushilin, fighting continues south from the liberated village of Kleban-Byk.
