KURSK, March 30. /TASS/. Ukrainian troops have lost several dozen combat vehicles northwest of Sudzha in the Kursk Region, a TASS correspondent reported from the scene.
In the area from the settlement of Olgovka to the Sudzha-Korenevo road, there is both combat equipment fully destroyed by Russian forces and largely intact military hardware abandoned by Ukrainian troops upon their escape from that territory.
The equipment destroyed by Russian forces includes US-made M113 armored personnel carriers and Abrams tanks, German-made Leopard and Soviet-made tanks and various types of armor. The combat vehicles that have remained largely intact reveal white crosses that the Ukrainian military puts on its equipment as identification marks.
"Practically all the equipment was destroyed with its assault force," the Russian reconnaissance counter-terror battalion commander with the call sign Valdai told TASS.
The largest amount of the destroyed Ukrainian military equipment remains in the settlements of Malaya Loknya, Nikolskoye, Pogrebki, Lebedevka and along the Korenevo-Sudzha road.
