MOSCOW, March 23. /TASS/. Russian air defense means destroyed fifty-nine drones at night, including nineteen ones over the Lipetsk Region, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"During the past night, air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed 59 Ukrainian drones: 29 drones over the territory of the Rostov Region, 20 drones over the Astrakhan Region, three drones over the Voronezh Region, three drones over the territory of the Volgograd Region, two drones over the territory of the Republic of Crimea, and one drone in each of the Kursk and Saratov Regions," the ministry said.
As Voronezh Region Governor Alexander Gusev wrote on his Telegram channel, according to preliminary data, there are no casualties or damage as a result of the Ukrainian UAV attack in the region. "The danger of a UAV attack in the region remains," he added.
Volgograd Region Governor Andrey Bocharov said there were no consequences of the Ukrainian drone attack.
"Several unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and neutralized while flying over the territory of the Volgograd Region and Volgograd. At the moment, there are no casualties or damage to facilities, and the assessment of the consequences of the falling debris is ongoing," he said as quoted by the regional administration's press service.
