Ukrainian forces’ losses in Russia’s East battlegroup zone amount to 190 servicemen

MOSCOW, March 2. /TASS/. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 190 servicemen in one day in the zone of Russia’s East battlegroup, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

"Units of Russia’s East battlegroup continued to advance deep into the enemy's defense. They defeated formations of four mechanized, ranger brigades, an assault regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a marine brigade, and three territorial defense brigades in the areas of the settlements of Otradnoye, Bogatyr, Voskresenka, Komar, Dneproenergiya, Novopol, Shevchenko, Burlatskoye, Privolnoye in the Donetsk People's Republic, Chervonoye, Zeleny Gai, and Gulyaipole in the Zaporozhye region," the ministry said.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the enemy's losses amounted to 190 servicemen, two combat armored vehicles, five cars, and four field artillery guns.

At the same time, the Russian Armed Forces in one day hit gas processing facilities supporting the operation of Ukrainian enterprises of the military-industrial complex, the ministry reported.

"Operational-tactical aviation, attack unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops and artillery groups of the Russian Armed Forces hit the infrastructure of military airfields, gas processing facilities that support the operation of Ukrainian military-industrial sector enterprises, unmanned aerial vehicle production workshops, and storage facilities, as well as concentrations of manpower and equipment of armed formations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 147 districts," the ministry said.
