Ukraine largely loses ability to produce weapons, ammunition — defense chief

Andrey Belousov added that this year, more than 58,000 pieces of various enemy weapons and equipment have been destroyed in the special military operation zone

MOSCOW, December 16. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces have largely lost their capacity to produce essential weapons, equipment, and ammunition, Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov stated at the ministry's final board meeting.

"Russian high-precision weapons have dealt significant damage to Ukraine's defense industry and power generation system. The enemy has largely lost the ability to produce essential weapons, equipment, and ammunition," Belousov said.

He added that this year, more than 58,000 pieces of various enemy weapons and equipment have been destroyed in the special operation zone, "including 18,000 foreign-made ones."
