MOSCOW, December 15. /TASS/. Ukrainian casualties in the Kursk Region in the past day amounted to more than 400 as the enemy also lost a tank, two infantry fighting vehicles and three armored combat vehicles there, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

Also, seven Ukrainian motor vehicles, three artillery mounts and 10 mortars were destroyed, the ministry added.

"Overall, since the hostilities in the Kursk area broke out, the enemy has lost more than 40,860 troops, 241 tanks, 180 infantry fighting vehicles, 125 armored personnel carriers 1,256 armored combat vehicles, 1,138 motor vehicles, 314 artillery guns and 40 multiple rocket launchers, including 11 HIMARS and six MLRS of US manufacture, as well as 13 missile launchers," the ministry said in a statement.
