MOSCOW, December 14. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces have lost over 200 servicemen while three troops surrendered in the borderline Kursk area over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Saturday.

"Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian army’s losses totaled over 200 personnel, one tank, one US-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicle, one armored combat vehicle, seven motor vehicles, two artillery guns, one mortar and an enemy electronic warfare station. Three Ukrainian troops surrendered," the ministry added.

Ukrainian army loses over 40,460 troops in Kursk area

The Ukrainian army has lost more than 40,460 troops since its incursion into Russia’s borderline Kursk Region, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Saturday.

"Over the period of fighting in the Kursk frontline area, the enemy has lost more than 40,460 troops, 240 tanks, 178 infantry fighting vehicles, 125 armored personnel carriers 1,253 armored combat vehicles, 1,131 motor vehicles, 311 artillery weapons and 40 multiple rocket launchers, including 11 HIMARS and six MLRS of US manufacture," the ministry said in a statement.
