Russian forces hit Ukrainian command posts in DPR’s Verkhnekamenskoye, Toretsk

MOSCOW, May 27. /TASS/. Russian Armed Force hit command posts of Ukraine’s 25th and 54th Mechanized brigades in DPR, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov said Saturday.

"Command posts of Ukraine’s 24th and 54th Mechanized brigades were hit near settlements of Verkhnekamenskoye and Toretsk, Donetsk People’s Republic," he said.

According to the general, operational/tactical and army aviation, artillery of the Russian Armed Forces hit 82 Ukrainian artillery units in their firing positions, manpower and military equipment in 96 areas in the past 24 hours.

In the Kherson direction, up to ten Ukrainian troops, three motor vehicles, a D-30 howitzer and two Gvozdika motorized artillery systems were eliminated as a result of shelling.
