Ukrainian army suffers setback as numerous breakthrough attempts on Zaporozhye foiled

Vladimir Rogov specified that enemy losses in manpower amounted to dozens

MOSCOW, November 28. /TASS/. The allied forces have prevented in four days about five Ukrainian attempted breakthroughs in the Zaporozhye direction, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the 'We Are Together with Russia’ movement, said on Monday.

"In just four days, we have had four or five counterattack attempts [by the Ukrainian armed forces], attempts to break through the defense line, all of them were thwarted," he said on the air of the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio station.

Rogov specified that enemy losses in manpower amounted to dozens. Tanks and armored vehicles were also destroyed.

Earlier, he told TASS that the Ukrainian military continued to build up its forces on the line of contact in the Zaporozhye Region near the towns of Orekhov and Gulyaypole. According to him, the equipment continues to arrive in the city of Zaporozhye, and from there "it is sent to a greater extent just outside of Orekhov, to a lesser extent to the vicinity of Gulyaypole and the village of Kamenskoye."
