Kiev troops lost up to 20 tanks near Nikolayev — LPR official

LUGANSK, October 19. /TASS/. The Kiev government’s troops lost up to 20 tanks near Nikolayev, Vitaly Kiselev, an aide to the interior minister of the Lugansk People's Republic, said in his Telegram channel on Wednesday.

"According to reports from the battleground, a battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ 59th brigade has been surrounded by our paratroopers in the Nikolayev area. To the north of them, another unit of the Ukrainian armed forces lost up to 20 tanks, and about 100 soldiers have been killed. No rushed to recover their bodies," Kiselev said.

The Kherson Region’s deputy governor, Kirill Stremousov, said earlier in the day that all of the Ukrainian military’s attempts to launch an offensive in the Kherson Region had been quashed.
