WASHINGTON, May 20. /TASS/. The United States is considering the possibility of imposing more sanctions on Russia but wants to see first how the situation unfolds following the recent phone conversation between the presidents of Russia and the United States, US President Donald Trump told reporters in the Congress.

"We're looking at a lot of things but we'll see," he said, when asked whether Washington planned to follow the European Union’s example and impose additional sanctions on Russia.

"I had a very good talk yesterday with President Putin, we'll see how that comes out," Trump added.
