Trump says United States should build relations with Russia — Breitbart News

NEW YORK, March 20th. /TASS/. The United States should forge ties with Russia, which has valuable economic resources, US President Donald Trump said.

"We should be dealing with Russia. They have the largest piece of land by far, bigger than China. They have 11 time zones. You can fly through 11 time zones from one side to the other. They have very valuable earth," he told Breitbart News portal in an interview.

On March 18, Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the situation in Ukraine, conditions for preventing escalation, and some international topics by phone. According to the Kremlin, the leaders considered a wide range of areas in which Moscow and Washington could establish cooperation, including mutually beneficial cooperation in the economy and energy in the future.
