NEW YORK, March 19. /TASS/. Vladimir Zelensky has agreed to US President Donald Trump's proposal to abandon strikes on energy infrastructure facilities of the parties to the Ukraine conflict, Bloomberg reported citing sources.
According to the agency, Zelensky announced the decision during phone conversation with the American president on Wednesday.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Trump confirmed in a telephone conversation on Tuesday their intention to continue efforts to resolve the Ukrainian conflict, including by considering the US leader's proposals. The Kremlin press service noted that "Russian and American expert groups are being set up for this purpose." The Russian leader agreed with the White House host's proposal that the parties to the conflict in Ukraine should mutually refrain from striking energy facilities.
