On March 5, Fox News quoted CIA Director John Ratcliffe as saying that the United States had suspended intelligence sharing with Ukraine. A congressional official told the newspaper that the halt in intelligence sharing affects "everything" and was suspended "Tuesday morning."
According to the newspaper's source in Ukraine, the country’s armed forces continued to receive intelligence from their partners as of March 5. The source declined to specify which countries he meant.
US President Donald Trump ordered the suspension of all military aid to Ukraine a few days after a dispute with Vladimir Zelensky at the White House on February 28. The decision took effect on the morning of March 4. It applies to all US military equipment not currently in Ukraine, including weapons transported by air and sea or awaiting further shipment in transit zones in Poland.
