Qatar resumes mediation between Israel, Hamas — premier’s aide confirms to TASS

Previously Qatar’s foreign ministry did not officially announce the revival of Doha’s role as a connecting link between Hamas and Israel

DOHA, December 8. /TASS/. The Qatari authorities have resumed mediation efforts for settlement of the conflict in the Gaza Strip between Israel and the Palestinian Hamas movement, Qatari Prime Minister’s aide, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Majed Al-Ansari told TASS.

"Yes, we have resumed mediation," he said on the sidelines of a Doha forum when asked a respective question by TASS.

Previously Qatar’s foreign ministry did not officially announce the revival of Doha’s role as a connecting link between Hamas and Israel.
