WASHINGTON, November 20. /TASS/. The US Defense Ministry plans to transfer a $275 million military aid package to Ukraine, the Associated Press reported citing sources.

The package is said to include air defense systems, HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, 105mm and 155mm shells, Javelin anti-tank systems, along with other equipment and spare parts.

Earlier, US permanent representative to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield said at a Security Council meeting that Washington planned to announce a new batch of military aid to Kiev in the coming days.
