Bulgarian parliament overrides president’s veto on agreement with Kiev on armored vehicles

As many as 162 lawmakers did not support the president who believes that these vehicles are needed by the Bulgarian border guards

SOFIA, December 8. /TASS/. Bulgaria’s parliament has overruled President Rumen Radev’s veto on the agreement on supplying Kiev with armored vehicles.

As many as 162 lawmakers did not support the president who believes that these vehicles are needed by the Bulgarian border guards. Fifty-five lawmakers voted against supplies of armored vehicles to Ukraine.

The agreement provides for transferring around 100 armorer infantry carriers with weapons, which are not used by the Bulgarian interior ministry, and spare parts for them. Details of the deliverables are not available.
