WARSAW, February 21. /TASS/. US President Joe Biden said in a speech in Warsaw on Tuesday that Russia won’t be able to win in the Ukrainian conflict.

"Ukraine will never be a victory for Russia. Never," he said.

Putin said in an address to the Federal Assembly earlier on Tuesday that Russia started the special military operation to protect people in its "historic lands," ensure its security and eliminate the threat that emanated from the current Ukrainian leadership. He said Moscow will move "step by step, carefully and consistently" to achieve the goals of the operation.
