White House rules out Biden’s visit to Ukraine during European tour

Coordinator for Strategic Communications at the National Security Council in the White House John Kirby said that Biden was not planning to meet with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky during his visit to Poland

WASHINGTON, February 18. /TASS/. Coordinator for Strategic Communications at the National Security Council in the White House John Kirby ruled out the possibility of US President Joe Biden’s visit to Ukraine as part of his European tour next week.

When asked by a reporter whether the US leader was planning to cross the border with Ukraine during his upcoming visit to Poland, Kirby replied: "No."

Biden is expected to depart to Poland on Monday evening.

Kirby also said that Biden was not planning to meet with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky during his visit to Poland.
