BEIJING, November 11. /TASS/. Chinese President Xi Jinping plans to meet with US President Joe Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron on the sidelines of the upcoming G20 and Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summits, China’s Foreign Ministry said on Friday.
"Xi Jinping will hold bilateral meetings with French President Emmanuel Macron, US President Joe Biden, Senegal’s President Macky Sall, Argentine President Alberto Fernandez and the leaders of other countries on the sidelines [of the summits]," Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hua Chunying pointed out in a statement.
The White House announced on Thursday that Biden’s meeting with Xi Jinping would take place on the sidelines of the G20 summit on the Indonesian island of Bali on November 14. The summit will be held in Indonesia on November 15-16, while the APEC summit is set to take place in Thailand from November 16-19.
