Macron says France will never get involved in conflict in Ukraine

PARIS, March 23. /TASS/. France will never be a warring side in the conflict in Ukraine and plans to continue talks with Russia for as long as needed to settle the crisis, French President Emmanuel Macron said on M6 television on Wednesday.

"We are not involved in the war, don’t panic," he said. "I want to stress we will never be a side of this conflict and Europeans will do everything to stop the hostilities without getting involved."

Macron said he wants to "continue the talks for as long as needed" and hopes he could help to reach a ceasefire and subsequent peace talks.
