WASHINGTON, November 8. /TASS/. US authorities are certain that there are no "specific or credible threats" to the voting infrastructure during the midterm elections day, a US cyber security official told reporters, according to Reuters.

The midterms kicked off on Tuesday morning. The voters will elect all members of the House of Representatives and one third of the Senate; most states will hold governor elections. The first voting stations opened at 5 AM in the state of Vermont.
