CARACAS, November 8. /TASS/. Russian Ambassador to Venezuela Sergey Melik-Bagdasarov and Venezuela’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Oliver Blanco discussed issues of expanding cooperation between the two countries at their meeting, the Russian diplomat told TASS.

"During the meeting, the parties reviewed key issues of the common agenda aimed at further strengthening of cooperation and mutual respect between the countries," Melik-Bagdasarov said. The ambassador confirmed to the foreign minister "the interest of Russia in keeping the succession of the constructive political dialogue and fruitful bilateral cooperation for the purpose of further development of traditionally friendly relations between Russia and Venezuela."
