KURSK, March 18. /TASS/. Russian Emergencies Ministry employees, volunteers and personnel at temporary accommodation centers have helped 1,700 people evacuated from the Kursk Region reunite with their families, a spokesperson for the regional branch of the Emergencies Ministry told TASS.
"Over 1,700 people have been able to reunite with their families since August," the official said.
Acting Kursk Region Governor Alexander Khinshtein announced earlier that the authorities had compiled a list of missing people from the region’s border areas. As of March 15, 378 names were removed from the list as those people had been found.
