MOSCOW, March 13. /TASS/. Russian forces struck UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) assembly and storage sites of the Ukrainian army over the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Thursday.
"Operational/tactical aircraft, attack unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops and artillery of the Russian groups of forces struck military airfield infrastructure facilities, a workshop producing and sites storing unmanned aerial vehicles, and also massed manpower and equipment of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 158 areas," the ministry said in a statement.

Russia’s Battlegroup North inflicted roughly 35 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed an enemy tank and an electronic warfare station in its area of responsibility in the Kharkov Region over the past day, the ministry reported.
"Battlegroup North units operating in the Kharkov direction inflicted losses on formations of a mechanized brigade and a motorized infantry brigade of the Ukrainian army in areas near the settlements of Kazachya Lopan and Volchansk in the Kharkov Region," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army lost an estimated 35 personnel, a tank, five motor vehicles, two artillery guns and an electronic warfare station in that frontline area over the past 24 hours, it specified.
In addition, Russian forces destroyed an ammunition depot of the Ukrainian army, it said.

Russia’s Battlegroup West inflicted more than 220 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed four US-made armored vehicles in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.
"Battlegroup West units improved their tactical position and inflicted losses on manpower and equipment of a mechanized brigade and an assault brigade of the Ukrainian army and a territorial defense brigade in areas near the settlements of Kopanki and Novoyegorovka in the Kharkov Region and Redkodub in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army lost more than 220 personnel, four US-made M113 armored personnel carriers, three motor vehicles, four field artillery guns and two electronic warfare stations in that frontline area over the past 24 hours, it specified.
In addition, Russian forces destroyed two ammunition depots of the Ukrainian army, it said.

"Battlegroup South units gained better lines and positions and inflicted losses on formations of four mechanized brigades, an infantry brigade, an assault brigade and an unmanned aircraft systems regiment of the Ukrainian army in areas near the settlements of Aleksandropol, Aleksandro-Kalinovo, Verolyubovka, Konstantinovka, Alekseyevo-Druzhkovka and Krymskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army lost more than 225 personnel, two armored combat vehicles, including a US-made M113 armored personnel carrier, two motor vehicles and a field artillery weapon in that frontline area over the past 24 hours, it specified.

Russia’s Battlegroup Center inflicted more than 475 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed five enemy armored combat vehicles in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.
"Battlegroup Center units kept advancing deep into the enemy’s defenses and inflicted losses on formations of two mechanized and two jaeger brigades, an assault brigade, an unmanned systems brigade of the Ukrainian army, a marine infantry brigade and two National Guard brigades in areas near the settlements of Dimitrov, Novopavlovka, Krasnoarmeisk, Shevchenko, Sribnoye, Udachnoye, Ulyanovka, Mirolyubovka and Uspenovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army’s losses in that frontline area over the past 24 hours amounted to more than 475 personnel, five armored combat vehicles, including a US-made M113 armored personnel carrier and a British-made Spartan armored personnel carrier, seven motor vehicles, two artillery guns and an electronic warfare station, it specified.

"Battlegroup East units inflicted losses in active operations on formations of an infantry brigade and an assault regiment of the Ukrainian army and two territorial defense brigades in areas near the settlements of Otradnoye, Bogatyr, Fyodorovka and Konstantinopol in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army lost more than 180 personnel, a tank, four armored combat vehicles, three motor vehicles and four field artillery guns, including two 155mm Bogdana self-propelled artillery systems in that frontline area over the past 24 hours, it specified.
Russia’s Battlegroup Dnepr destroys 55 Ukrainian troops in past day
Russia’s Battlegroup Dnepr destroyed roughly 55 Ukrainian troops and an enemy electronic warfare station in its area of responsibility over the past day, the ministry reported.
"Battlegroup Dnepr units inflicted losses on manpower and equipment of a coastal defense brigade of the Ukrainian army and two territorial defense brigades in areas near the settlements of Nikolskoye, Burgunka and Tyaginka in the Kherson Region and Pavlovka in the Zaporozhye Region," the ministry said.
"As many as 55 [Ukrainian] military personnel, eight motor vehicles and an electronic warfare station were destroyed," it said.
Russian air defenses down 147 Ukrainian UAVs, four JDAM smart bombs over past day
Russian air defense forces shot down 147 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and four JDAM smart bombs over the past day, the ministry reported.
"Air defense capabilities shot down four JDAM guided aerial bombs and two rockets of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system of US manufacture and 147 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.
Overall, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 657 Ukrainian warplanes, 283 helicopters, 46,508 unmanned aerial vehicles, 600 surface-to-air missile systems, 22,144 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,526 multiple rocket launchers, 22,521 field artillery guns and mortars and 32,745 special military motor vehicles since the start of the special military operation, the ministry reported.
