MOSCOW, March 5. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will take part in an expanded Interior Ministry board meeting on Wednesday.
The event is expected to assess the results of last year’s performance of Russian law enforcement agencies and outline their priorities for 2025.
Putin has annually participated in Interior Ministry board meetings in person. He did not even skip such a meeting during the COVID-19 pandemic.
At last year’s event, the president highlighted the fight against extremism and efforts to thwart the arrival of illegal migrants among the Ministry’s priorities. He also ordered Interior Ministry employees to increase the percentage of crimes solved and enhance the fight against cybercrimes.
